Clock ticks softly
On the mantle piece of time
My maker awaits

My worries seem
Complex myriad streams
Life’s prism

My self

To feel alive
To fined my true self
Unfulfilled dreams

Mayfly

The beautiful Mayfly
Dances the day away
Death awaits

Fledgling

Fledgling perch’s
precariously on nest edge
Flight of life

Beauty

The delicate beauty
Of the simple buttercup
My wife’s smile

Summer

Early summers morning
Bird table filled with seed
Greenfinch watches
